Infusions of mullein, colt's foot, ground ivy, blue mallow, marsh mallow, hyssop, agrimony, lavander, creeping thyme, poppy, sundew, eucalyptus, fenugreek, melilot, fir tree, common speedwell, catmint, white pond lily or thyme.

Out of infusion 2 to 3 cups a day : 2 parts of ground ivy, 1 part of lavander, 1 part of creeping thyme, 1 part of poppy, 1 part of mullein, 1 part of marsh mallow.

Cataplasm : mix 2 to 3 handfuls of mustard with water and gently cook to obtain a soft paste, put on a gauze, apply on the chest.

Gargle with : Infusion of sage add 1 coffee spoon of honey, 1 spoon of vinegar ; gargle several times a day.

Spasmodic cough :
Take 3 cups a day, far from the meals :

Infusion of almond tree, 30 g of leaves for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of anise, 15 g of seeds for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of basil, 20 g of flowered tops and leaves for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of catmint, 20 g of plant for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of sweet chestnut tree, 40 g of dreid leaves for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of honeysuckle, 5 g of flowers for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 5 minutes.
or
Infusion of sundew, 15 g of plant for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of wild fennel, 15 g of seeds for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of mistletoe, 25 g of chopped leaves for 1 liter of ebullinet water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of jasmine, 20 g of flowers for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Mixed infusion of lavander 20 g of flowers, and wild mint 20 g of flowered tops and leaves, , for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 5 minutes .
or
Infusion of white pond lily, 25 g of flowers for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of onion, 250 g of bulb for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes, strongly sweeten.
or
Infusion of wild marjoram, 10 g of flowered tops, for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of peony, 40 g of flowers for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Maceration of licorice, 40 g of root in 1 liter of cold water, let soak 1 night.
or
Decoction of creeping thyme or thym, 250 g of plant for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes, ajouter 250 g of honey, to take by soup spoons.

Expectorant preparations
To take 3 cups a day :

Decoction of wild celery, 25 g of root for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes.
or
Decoction of carrot, 100 g of root for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of chervil, 40 g of plant for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 5 minutes.
or
Decoction of fig tree, 100 g of dried figs for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes, filter.
or
Decoction of Iceland lichen : let soak 3 hours, 20 g of plant in 1 liter of cold water, change the water 3 times, then boil 5 minutes and throw away the first water, replace the water, boil 15 minutes, filter.
or
Infusion of white horehound, 20 g of flowered tops and leaves, for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Decoction of blue mallow, 15 g of flowers for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of mullein, 20 g of flowered tops for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 5 minutes.
or
Decoction of cowslip, 20 g of root for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of colt's foot, 50 g of flowers for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Decoction of violet, 10 g of root pour 1 liter of water, boil 20 minutes, passer.

Take 2 to 4 soup spoons a day :

Syrup of poppy, let infuse 12 hours, 400 g of fresh flowers in 1 liter of boiling water, filter, add 1,4 kg of sugar, cook until thickening.
or
Syrup of marsh mallow, boil in 1 liter of water, 40 g of root during 15 minutes, filter and add 1,5 kg of sugar, shortly boil again.
or
Syrup of hyssop : let infuse 10 minutes, 100 g of plant in 1 liter of boiling water, filter, add 1,5 kg of sugar, mix and cook until obtaining a syrup.
or
Syrup of myrthe, let infuse 6 hours in 1 liter of boiling water, 75 g of leaves, filter, add 1,75 kg of sugar, mix and cook.
or
Syrup of leek, 150 g of plant for 1 liter of water, boil 30 minutes, add the same weight of honey.
or
Syrup of horseradish, cut 1 radish out of discs in a strainer and cover it with sugar, collect the liquid under the strainer.
or
Syrup of saffron, boil during 30 minutes in 1 liter of water, 15 g of powder, filter, add 0,5 kg of sugar, mix and cook again.
