Baths of hands or feet, frictions, compress, cataplasm :

Decoction of carrot, 100 g of leaves for 1 liter of water, make it boil 20 mn, filter ; wash morning and evening with the liquid.
or
Decoction of celery, make boil a fresh crushed celery, with leaves and roots, during 1 h in 3 liters of water, filter; wash morning and evening foot or sick hand with this quite hot liquid, or take a local bath.
or
Decoction of oak, 50 g of dried bark powder in 1 liter of water, make it boil 10 mn, let rest 30 mn ; plunge the painful part in the hot decoction during 30 mn once a day.
or
Decoction of quince tree, cook during 30 mn, 50 g of quince pips in 100 g of water, filter; local wash with the liquid.
or
Decoction of mistletoe, 100 g of fresh plant for 1 liter of water, let gently boil 1 hour, filter ; plunge each morning the painful part during 10 mn in a container full with this hot liquid.
or
Decoction of mullein, 60 g of fresh flowers and leaves in 1 liter of milk, make boil 10 mn; wash each evening the painful part with this milk without wiping.
or
Decoction of walnut tree, 50 g of leaves for 1 liter of water, let boil 20 mn ; plunge hand or foot 30 mn in the bath, rub with the leaves.
or
Decoction of lungwort, 50 g of leaves for 1 liter of water, let boil 15 mn; wash chilblains with the liquid to calm itchings and pain.
or
Decoction of fir tree, 50 g of buds for 1 liter of water, let boil 10 mn filtrer.
or
Decoction of elder, 30 g of dried flowers for 1 liter of water, make it boil 10 mn, let infuse 10 mn ; use hot to wash or bathe the painful parts.
or
Plaster of colza, to peel a root and make it cook in very little water then crush it ; to apply tepid.
or
Plaster of white lily, to make cook a bulb in milk, crush it ; apply tepid.
or
Plaster of chestnut tree, to make cook during 30 mn in a little water about fifteen beautiful horse chestnuts, peel them, crush them, let cool; to coat each evening chilblain with this pulp, cover with a bandage.
or
Plaster with marigold boiled flowers ; apply the pulp tepid.
or
Also apply : raw onion juice, fresh crushed cabbage leaves.
