Infusions : mullein, borage, poppy, marsh mallow, ground ivy, blue mallow, St. John's Wort, cowslip, rosemary, fir tree buds, creeping thyme, sage, elder, thyme, violet, english daisy or summer savory.

Out of infusion 2 to 3 cups a day : 1 part of eucalyptus, 1 part of mullein, 1 part of poppy, 1 part of blue mallow, 1 part of colt's foot, 1 part of speedwell, 1 part of ground ivy.

To expectorate decoction of Island lichen, maidenhair fern : several cups a day.

Take in 24 hours, 1 liter filtered sweetened :
Decoction of carrot, 30 g of root.
or
of celery, 50 g of root, boil 20 minutes.
of cabbage, 1 large leaf,
of colza, 30 g of peeled root,
of watercress, 50 g,
of leek, 50 g.

Take 3 soup spoons in the course of the day mixed with jam : Fresh juice of nasturtium.

To take in the evening :
Decoction of onion, cook 1 large chopped onion for 1 cup of milk.
or
Decoction of barley, 20 g of barley for 1 liter of water, boil 15 minutes.
or
Apple decoction, 3 chopped apples with their skin, for 1 liter of water, boil 20 minutes with 10 g of liquorice, filter.
or
Infusion of horseradish, 20 g of fresh root for 1 liter of boiling water.

Take 1 soup spoon every hour :
Decoction of myrthe, 20 g of leaves for 1 liter of water, boil 5 minutes, filter, sweeten.
or
Concentrated Infusion of creeping thyme, 150 g of dried plant for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes, sweeten.

To take 2 cups a day :
Decoction of carragaheen Irish moss, 15 g of dried washed thallus, for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes, let it cool, sweeten with honey.
or
Infusion of wild fennel, 50 g of seeds for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 5 minutes.
or
Décoction of englishholly, 30 g of dried leaves for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes, let it cool.
or
Decoction of blue mallow, 15 g of flowers for 1 liter of water, boil 10 minutes, filter.
or
Decoction of daisy, 20 g of dried flowers and leaves in 1 liter of wine, boil 5 minutes, filter.
or
Infusion of plantain, 50 g of seeds for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 5 minutes, filter; drink immediately.
or
Infusion of fir tree, 80 g of buds for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes, filtrer, sweeten with honey ; drink in 1 day.
or
Infusion of summer savory, 50 g of plant for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Infusion of elder, 50 g of dried flowers for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.

Take 3 cups a day :
Infusion 30 g for 1 liter of boiling water :
of motherwort fresh flowered tops,
of lavander flowers,
of white horehound flowered tops,
of melilot flowers,
of St. John's wort flowered tops,
of mullein flowers,
of english daisy flowers.
of violet flowers.

To take 3 cups a day :
Infusion of poplar, 50 g of buds for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.
or
Decoction of polypody, 30 g of rhizome for 1 liter of water, boil 15 minutes, let macerate 1 night, filter.
or
Mixed infusion of maidenhair fern leaves, poppy flowers, hyssop, ground ivy, scolopendrium vulgare, colt's foot, common speedwell, 5 g of each for 1 liter of boiling water.

Syrup of maidenhair fern, let infuse in a closed bottle 100 g of plant in 1 liter of boiling water during 6 h, filter, add almost twice the weight of sugar, boil 1 minutes, filter, preserve out of stopped bottle ; 4 to 5 soup spoons a day.

Syrup of pine buds, let macerate 1 hour, 50 g of buds in 50 g of brandy, pour on the preparation 1 liter of boiling water, let rest 6 hours, filter, add 1 kg of sugar, to cook until consistance of a syrup; 4 soup spoons a day.

Syrup of devil's bit, let infuse 6 hours, 75 g of dried flowers and leaves in 1 liter of boiling water, filter, add 1,5 kg of sugar, let gently cook until syrup consistency ; 3 coffee spoons per day.

Put on the chest: :
Cataplasm of linseed meal, 60 g for 1 liter of water, cook to thicken, put between 2 muslins, then powder with mustard powder.
or
Cataplasm of hot red chili pepper, let macerate 2 days 50 g (5 whole peppers) in 100 g of alcohol 60°, filter, whitewash the chest and cover with wadding and supervise heating.
