Aquatic plant of the ponds with stem crawling under the water from 0,20 to 0,40 m of which one uses rhizome, flowers and leaves.

Bogbean has properties similar to gentian.
Dyspepsia, lack of appetite, bad digestion, travel sickness, asthenia, overwork, rheumatic pains, fever, dermatosis, scabs.


Compress and lotion : 50 g for one liter of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes.

Wine; 10g of fresh leaves in 1 liter of boiling red wine, let infuse during 10 minutes, 2 tablespoons before each meal.
