Small shrub from 4 to 6 m in height which one uses leaves and bark.
Witch-hazel is well-known for healing varicose and heumorroids. Also : Phlebitis, ulcer of the leg, haemorrhages, menopause, angina. In external use : Pruritus, hives, bruise, ecchymosis. One spoonful for one cup of water, make boil 2 minutes ; 2 cups a day. Decoction : 25 g of bark for 500 ml of water, make it boil 10 minutes, in compress for sunstrokes, painful varicose, inflammation of the articulations. Learn more ... |
