Hardy perennial that grows in hedges and wet grounds from 0,20 to 0,60 m of which one uses the berries that become red when ripe.

Winter cherry is a very good antirhumatismal, also used as a diuretic in case of urea, urinary lithiasis, oedema.



Infusion : 20 g per liter of water; 3 cups a day.

Decoction : Two handfuls of fruits for 1 liter of water, boil for 5 minutes; drink in 24 hours.

Wine; let macerate during 10 days, 30g of stems, leaves and berries in 1 liter of white wine, filter; take 1 small glass every morning in case of edema of the legs.
