CREEPING THYME - WILD THYME
(Thymus serpyllum)

Hardy perennial of dry grounds of 0,10 to 0,50 m of which one uses the flowered tops.

Out of infusion wild thyme is a good general tonic and disinfectant of respiratory tracts. Same indications as thyme.
Also : Epatic insufficiency, gastric meteorism, rheumatism, pains, cough.
In external use : Care of the hair, ulcers, irritations, nose bleed.



Infusion : A few branches for one boiling cup of water, let infuse 10 minutes ; 3 cups a day.

Relaxing bath; 60g of fresh plant in 2 liters of boil water, let become cold, filter; pour in the water of a bath.

Compresses with an infusion; 50g of flowered tops for 1 liter of boiling water; in case of rhumatic pains.
