Common plant of the dry waste lands from 0,30 to 0,60 m which one uses the leaves, seeds and flowered tops.
Yarrow is used in case of diarrhoeas, heumorroids, inflammation of the skin, of mucous membranes. Also : Varixes, insufficient or delayed menstruations, oliguria, urinary lithiasis, gout, arterial hypertension, menopause. In external use : Acne, cilblain, burns, care of the skin, hair. Infusion : One spoonful 1/4 liter of ebullient water, 3 times a day. Tincture : fill a bottle with flowers, cover with alcohol 40 %, let soak 15 days in a sunny place, filter, take 15 drops a day in a small glass of water. Bath: Boil 15 minutes one handful of fresh leaves in 500 ml of water, filter and add in the water of a bath. Fresh leaves applied on the wounds stop bleedings. Learn more ... |
