Evergreen tree of the mountains from 400 m to 2000 m growing to 45 m height which one mainly uses the buds and the needles but also bark and resin.
Silver fir buds are disinfectants, the needles are expectorants used to facilitate breathing in case of cough, of bronchitis. Also : Cystitis, fluor albus.
