Hardy perennial of the uncultivated places from 1 to 1,50 m of which one
uses the roots, seeds, and leaves.
Lovage is used in case of renal affection, hepatic insufficiency, insufficient menstruations, cardiac arrhythmia. Also : flatulence, diuretic. Infusion : 15g for one liter of boiling water ; 2 cups a day. Maceration; 1 tablespoon for 1 cup of tepid water, let infuse 2 to 3 hours; 2 to 3 cups a day.
