Henbane has been used since antiquity as analgesic, specially to alleviate pain affecting the urinary tract or the abdomen. Also : Tooth aches, insomnia, coughs, abundant menstruation, ophthalmias, gout, various neuralgic pains, sciatic nerves or rheumatic, asthma, sedative, antispasmodic.
