Dangerous plant in case of overdose. Hardy perennial of the wet and marshy grounds from 0,20 to 0,50 m which one uses whole flowered and dried. Hedge hyssop is used for cirrhoses, chronic affections of the liver, jaundice. Also : Constipation, uraemia, oedemas. In external use : Dermathosis. Infusion : 5 g for one liter of boiling water ; 2 to 3 cups a day.
