 marsh mallow, burdock, centaury, walnuttree leaves. Compress of marigold, cornflower or elder 2 to 3 time a day. Make boil 30 g of cornflower during 15 minutes in 1 liter of water, let cool, apply in bath of eye. For simple irritations : let infuse 40 g of cornflower during 10 minutes in 1 liter of ebullient water, let cool, apply in bath of eye then in compress to the eyelids during 15 minutes. For the red eyes : 2 or 3 coffee spoons of roman camomile in 1/3 of liter of ebullient water, make it boil 15 minutes, filtrer, let cool, apply in compress on the eyes, 2 to 3 times a day. In case of eyelid inflammation : wash several times a day with a decoction of eyebright, 50 g of dried plant for 1 liter of water, let it boil 10 mn, let become tepid , filter. ou Infusion of melilot, 100 g of dried flowered tops for 1 liter of ebullient water, let become tepid, filter ; Local bath, to prepare only one small quantity at the same time for the immediate use, filter carefully : Infusion of lady's mantle, 150 g of dried plant for 1 liter of ebullient water, let infuse 10 mn. or Decoction of cornflower, 30 g of dried flowers for 1 liter of cold water, make it boil 15 mn. or Infusion of roman camomile, 150 g of dried flowers for 1 liter of ebullient water, let infuse 1 hour or Decoction of eyebright, 20 g of dried flowered tops for 1 liter of water, let it boil 10 mn. or Infusion of melilot, 50 g of dried flowered tops for 1 liter of ebullient water, let infuse 10 mn. or Infusion of plantain, 80 g of dried leaves for 1 liter of ebullient water, let infuse 20 mn. Compress with : Decoction of carragaheen, 20 g of dried plant in 1 liter of water, let it boil until complete softening. or Decoction of walnut tree, 30 g of fresh leaves for 1 liter of water, let it boil 5 mn. or Infusion of licorice, 100 g of dried chopped roots for 1 liter of ebullient water, let infuse 1 h. or Infusion of vine, 50 g of dried leaves for 1 liter of ebullient water, let infuse 10 mn. Cataplasm of fresh crushed leaves of wood avens ; apply on the eyes. |
